Every Tuesday the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston holds casual, laid back folk dancing classes. Attending one of these dance classes is a super affordable way to have a fun cultural experience at only $6 for members of the public. The goal of this museum is to educate the public about the dangers of prejudice and hatred through a plethora of information about the holocaust. The museum is the 4th largest holocaust museum in the US and has 4 permanent galleries, 2 temporary exhibition galleries and a research library with over 4000 titles relating to the holocaust, antisemitism and WWII. It only costs $19 for an adult ticket, but museum admission is free to all on Thursdays between 2 and 5pm.
